Sounds like a Greg Jackson poll. I won't even respond because the poll itself is slanted and doesn't give an opportunity for one to give a more balanced view, like
"Maybe, because some church growth methodologies are simply common sense ideas about how to get the means of grace to people."
I voted in the poll...if anyone knows me they can guess which one I voted for!
Its nice that the word "Methodologies" was used, Most methods are of themselves harmless, but Methodologies...that think we can do anything to grow the church...are dangerous.
I appreciate the use of distinctions in theology. They can be quite helpful.
But I'm curious--how do we distinguish between methods and methodologies? What is the difference between these two?
